Where is the testis attached in the embryo?
dorsal abdominal wall caudal to the kidneys
What is it attached to the dorsal abdominal wall by and what attaches with it?
gubernaculum
mesorchium and mesonephric ducts
What does the proximal portion of the gubernaculum become when the testes descend?
proper ligament of the testis
What does the distal portion of the gubernaculum become when the testes descend?
ligament of the tail of the epididymis
what forms as a result of an evagination of the abdominal wall when the testes descend?
the cavity of the vaginal tunic
What are the three major components in the confines of this cavity?
