Q

urban transitions analysis=

A

there is a need to explore how inovative activities within cities inerrelate with wider national and social transitions. understanding the role of cities is a multilevel transition perspective also needs to take seriousliy multilevel governance and different scale of action. we need to share understanding between a wide rage of urban policy makers and those who manage the energy, water, waste, transport infrastructure refimes. shared visions and the goal they outline provide a reference point through which networks can be built. we also need a sense of how an efficient capacity can be coordinated to act on the vision and the process of manifesting that capacity in action.
