encompassing positive, dynamic state of “well-beingness”, reflecting adaptability, good quality of life and satisfaction in ones activities

a balanced rhythm of activity & rest, a range and variety of occupations , ability to move around in society and interact with the environment

transient disruption of occupational patterns; due to significant life events; or caused by illness/injury

ways of functioning that produce negative consequences in terms of health and life satisfaction

isolation, loss of control, estrangement from self & society due to occupations that do not satisfy inner needs

a disproportion of occupation resulting in decreased well-being
