- Generalizing to groups not represented in norming sample
- Over-interpreting scores
- Teaching answers
- Over-generalizing findings

What are the 3 types of Traditional Norm Referenced Assessment?
A
- Intelligence tests, used to evaluate both current intellectual status and predict future
behaviour on intellectual tasks, ex. IQ Test - Achievement tests, what knowledge has been acquired
3.Special Abilities tests, eg mechanical aptitude, auditory processes, narrow in scope like achievement test but focus on process rather than content
