- collect honey capping for clean beeswax
- uses for candles, cosmetics and foundation for beekeepers

A
- produced by worker bees and fed to queen larvae
- highly acidic
- production: colony set up for queen rearing — RJ is a max when larvae are 3 days old
- uses: magical?

Propolis
A
- bees collect from resins on trees
- thin layer on inside of nest which reduced cavity rot (anti fungal)
- block holes or crack to regulate airflow in nest
- scrapped diff hives when cool and brittle
- antibiotic and kills bacteria
- human medicine uses: antibiotic properties
