Using the Gibb’s Free Energy equation, display a circumstance in which the system will not move toward a state of spontaneity.

A

Delta G = delta H (enthalpy) - time*delta S (entropy). If there is no change in enthalpy (delta H becomes 1), the system enthalpy will equal the enthalpy of the universe. Delta G is then equal to -T times (entropy of universe-entropy of system). Gibbs free energy is negative due to the increase in entropy.
