What was Māori health like before colonisation?
before colonisation Māori were a thriving population and there is little evidence to suggest that they struggled with mental health
What impact did Te Tiriti cause to Māori health?
Te Tiriti caused many issues in discrimination and racism, leading to mental health issues and issues in the health care they are receiving

this is the first model to be designed and shared, it was developed as Maori were worried that western health focused mainly on physcial aspects rather than mental
idea was that you can’t achieve wellbeing without all factors being complete
