What is a risk register?
A
- Each risk is assessed with respect to likelihood and consequence
- Generally these values are multiplied together to give a risk ranking
- Risks and their rankings are stored in the risk register
- Risks with high rankings are prioritised for treatment

How are risk registers used?
A
- All organisations are required to maintain risk registers
- Projects have risk registers
- There are often risk registers for specific risks e.g. Safety and Health
- UWA has a risk register stored on the Staff Intranet
- Your MPE projects should have a risk register
