Q

Do rods detect optokinetic lines better when they are more spaced out or when they are closer together?

A

rods detect lines that are farther apart better than lines that are closer together and cones detect lines that are closer together better. this is due the fact that rods have a lower spatial frequency and cones have a higher spatial frequency.
