A

A malformation of cortical development
Most common cause of epilepsy in pediatric population
Example: what the boy who had the unprovoked seizures and who ran away had been diagnosed with
Focal Cortical Dysplasia is a common cause of focal epilepsy EVEN if MRI is normal
