Q

Fluid metabolism

A
  • begins @ stomach where fluids are churned and separated
  • spleen further separates fluid & ascends the pure to the lung & descends the impure to the small intestine
  • SI functions to separate pure from impure & sends pure to stomach & spleen and impure to LI or UB
  • lungs send more refined portion to skin; less refined portion to kidneys
  • kidneys send a steam up to the Lungs to keep them moist
