Tables
-tables should present meaning full data
-data should be unambiguous
-tables should convey ideas about the data efficiently

What are two potential drawbacks of using excessive text to present statistical data?
Large blocks of text can overwhelm the reader and may not convey data meaningfully or efficiently. Summarising key findings with numbers and concise explanations is more effective.
According to Klass (2002), the three basic components to most charts are:
X-axis (Horizontal Axis): Represents the independent variable or the categories of data.
Y-axis (Vertical Axis): Represents the dependent variable or the values being measured or compared.
Data (Plot or Representation): The actual points, bars, lines, or other elements that visually display the relationship between the variables.
Eye Contact
Do not hide behind your speaker notes
Do look at your audience
Do not focus on one person
Delivering an Effective Presentation
- dress professionally
- Avoid “um”, “ah”, “like”
- avoid fidgeting
- Speak clearly
- Eye contact
