Necessary for speaking and logical thinking.
Right Hemisphere Dominant Learners
Use emotional, visual, spatial and non-verbal side of their brain.
Necessary for artistic expression and creative thinking.
Field Independent Learners
Analytic Learners
Like to concentrate on the details of the language, such as grammar rules, and enjoy taking apart words and sentences.
Sometimes unable to see the bigger picture because of attention to the parts.
Field Dependent Learners
Global Learners
Focus on the whole picture, and not so much on the details.
More interested in conveying an idea than worrying whether grammatically correct.
VARK
Learning style focusing on “how do I learn best?”
Includes visually, aurally, reading/writing, kinesthetic
