What is Six Sigma?
A set of tools to improve the manufacturing process
What is Lean Six Sigma?
Lean basically accelerates six sigma for solving problems and improving
processes is faster and more efficient.
what is Takt Time?
Takt Time refers to the rate at which a finished product is completed to meet customer demand
Takt Time is meant to give you the means to measure processes to ensure continuous
flow and the optimum utilization of machines and processes.
What is DPMO?
DPMO stands for defects per million opportunities
This concept is used to hear in the production and most of the time it is used by
manufacturing who involve in the production process.
What are the 5 Six Sigma Steps?
DMAIC:
Define - define and clarify the project goal and timeline
Measure - define the current state and processes
Analyze - Determine process capability and speed utilizing tools and charts
Improve- generally improve
Control-develop control plan, monitor performance
What is Lean Manufacturing?

method designed to help you visualize
your work, reduce waste and idle time and
maximize efficiency

Kai means change and Zen means good, Kaizen refers to good change or continual improvement.

What is Jidoka?
Jidoka means that a machine
must come to a safe stop whenever an
abnormality occurs.
What is Poke and Yoke?
The mechanism in a lean
manufacturing process that helps an
equipment operator avoid (Yokeru)
mistakes (Poka).
What is Kaizen Blitz
Total focus is given on a specific
part of process for a designated
short period of time.
