•leaves the group feeling like they aren’t trusted w decisions or imporotant tasks

- Fit for quick decision makingz stress filled situations.
- Offers clear chain of command
Cons of autocratic leadership
- Discourages group input
- Hurts morale and leads to resentment
- Ignores or impairs creative solutions from subordinates
Style hinges on the leader’s ability to not only see a vision of the future but to effectively communicate it, inspiring others to turn that vision into reality
VISIONARY LEADERSHIP STYLE
-The leader’s PRIMARY TASK IS TO ENSURE HARMONY AND FRIENDSHIP IN THE WORKPLACE
-it must be carefully used because it leads to happy employees but it may RESULT IN LOSS OF FOCUS on the true goals.
AFFILIATIVE LEADERSHIP STYLE
Leadership in where EVERYBODY HAS EQUAL SAY IN RHE DECISION MAKING PROCESS
DEMOCRATIC LEADERSHIP STYLE
Team members watch the pacesetting leader and his or her speed, performance, and quality of work. The same output is expected from team because others are expected to follow
PACE-SETTING LEADERSHIP STYLE
The leader qcts as a coach. She shows people how their individual contributions support a larger goal.
