Why did the bolsheviks win the civil war. (reds)
Leadership = trotsky acted as the bolsheivk war commissar and successful manged the Red army and also lenins ability to make sure the bolshevik supporter remained together.
Startegy = trosty was able to increase lines of communication, breaking supply lines of the whites army preventing them co- ordinating their activity. Bolsheivk was able to consolidate power in industrial bases in Moscow.
Reasources = by 1920 had 3.5 million men and at the end 5 million, red terror was able to keep cohesiveness , they had former tsarist milltary officers.
Logistics = by controlling the railways, the reds were able to move troops and supplies over vast distances far more quickly than whites trostky was able to quickly travel 65,000 miles during the war.

The white leadership struggled to co- operate and Co - ordinate their activities. But due geographic divide made them have no common set of aims as the some were socist and others are concertives.
Stratey and tactics = lack of unfied aims results in no coherent plan and bolsheivk urban strong holds hard to penetrate
Reasources = about 500,000 white existed had one point, they had to rely on foreign supplies of armaments.
Logistics = whites found it hard to link their forces.
