- 85% minimum Verdicchio, blended 15% maximum with Malvasia and/or Trebbiano
- Terrior- calcareous, clay and limestone
- Dry maritime climate
- mineral tinged dry white wine

Conero DOC and DOCG
A
- DOCG is always Riserva
- DOCG 85% minimum Montepuciano and 15% maximum Sangiovese
- DOC 85% minimum Montepulciano and 15% maximum other varietals
- Soil: Shell and calcareous sediments
- Aromas: Black cherry, blackberry, black plum, forest floor, graphite, earthy, leather, vanilla, licorice, tobacco, roasted coffee bean

- needs more aging for its sharper characteristics

Vernaccia di Serrapetrona DOC and DOGC
A
- DOC is a still wine
- DOCG is a sparkilng wine with 3 fermentation’s
- 1st Fermentation: harvest grape 50% are fermented and 50% are dried
- 2nd fermentation:add dried grapes to fermenting grapes and finish fermentation
- 3rd fermentation: charmat method/ tank method done in autoclaves
- Aromas: strawberries, cranberries, some spice (clove), apple

Offida DOCG
A
- All wines from the area with region name are DOCG
- White wines of region must be 85% of stated varietal to be DOCG
- Offida Rosso: 85% Montepulciano aged 24 months, 12 in oak, bottled 6 months before release, minimum 13%ABV
- Offida Pecornio: 85% Pecornio, minimum 11.5% ABV
- Offica Passerina: 85% Passerina, spumate style classical method, passito style, vin santo (dessert wine)
