SSD Replacement
Remove the retaining screw; the SSD pops up at a 45-degree angle.
Align the keyed slot when installing the new SSD.
Secure the SSD with the retaining screw.
Backup data before replacement and restore it after installation.
HDD Replacement:
Remove screws and detach the HDD from the SATA connectors.
Place the new HDD into the caddy (if applicable) and secure with screws.
Align and reconnect SATA connectors (7-pin and 15-pin).
Format and configure the HDD after reassembly.
Replacement and Upgrade key tips
Backup: Always back up data from the existing drive before upgrading.
Compatibility: Check the laptop manual for supported SSD or HDD types.
Data Recovery: HDDs are easier to recover data from using external enclosures or adapters.
