Refers to what is suggested in an utterance even though not expressly stated or entailed by the utterance.
What is person deixis and examples?
Refers to words that indicate the speaker, the listener, or other individuals, e.g. I, you, he.
What is spatial deixis and examples?
Refers to words that indicate location or direction, e.g. here, there, this, that.
What is temporal deixis and examples?
Refers to words that indicate time, e.g. now, then, today, yesterday.
What is deixis/deictic?
Refers to words or phrases that depend on context for their meaning.
