what is the distribution of upland lowland and glaciated landscapes in the UK
South of the Tees-Exe line there is lowland areas pushing north there is upland areas up to north Scotland where the land is glaciated

Geology - Tend to be formed of sedimentary rocks such as sandstone and clays
Climate - Milder temperatures with less rainfall
Human activity - common urbanisation and settlements due to the lack of relief making it easier to build on.

Geology - mostly mountainous. They usually consist of igneous rocks like limestone, sandstone and shales
Climate - lower temperatures, more rainfall and more wind
Human activity - sheep
