Is an area where certain cultural practices, beliefs or values are more or less practiced by the majority of the inhabitants

The characteristic and tangible outcome of the complex interactions between a human group with its own practices, preferences, values, aspirations and natural environment
Cultural landscapes as text
Like a book, landscape can be read and written by groups and individuals. Landscapes produce and communicate meaning and geographers interpret these meanings

- Typonyms

Reveal something about the cultural history of an area. They often survive long after the original inhabitants dissapeared
