Landings Traffic Pattern Breakdown

A

Upwind: climb to 300 under pattern Alt (1500)
Crosswind: Pattern Altitude climb (1800), pull power back as you level
Downwind: maintain 90 knots (usually 2150)
@ 1,000 ft marker pull power back 1500 and flaps 110, descend (500-600ft descent)
Base: 45 degrees to line of sight 75 knots, flaps 20, (just a bit of power to prevent sinking)
Final: Line up with Centerline, Nose down to descend, eyes on landing point.

    Procedures: flaps up (no ballooning), adjust trim, full power and take off (ensure you have enough room)
  3. Stop and Go
  4. Short Approach (not yet)
  5. Full Stop, Taxi Back
  6. Clear for the Option: Tower will clear you.
