How does the ATA 1995 promote diversification?
- Introduced FBT’s, creating grater freedom of contract
- Encourages collaboration between LL & tenant
- LL cannot unreasonably withold consent for rural diversification
What are the requirements & restrictions of Class Q development?
Governs conversion of agricultural buildings to dwellings
* Building must have been in agricultural use on / before 20th March 2013, if after, 10 years must pass before development
* Max 10 dwellings with a cumlitave floor area of 1,000sqm
* Each dwelling capped at 150 sqm
* Mandates suitable vehicle access
* Partial demolition allowed
* External alterations permitted - windows / doors etc
* Extensions allowed as long as on existing hardstanding - max H&D of 4m
