What is a ‘Resonable Adjustment’
(Equality Act 2010)

A
  • Mandates that employers and service providers make ‘reasonable adjustments’ to ensure that disables people can access opportunities and services on an equal basis as non-disabled people
  • Must be proportional to the disadvantage faced but must not impose undue financial or operational burdens on the employer
  • Failure can be discrimination under the Act
