What are the early signs and symptoms of Hypoglycemia?
Early signs:
- Pallor
- Shakiness/trembling
- Sweating
- Tachycardia
- Poor coordination, unsteady gait
- Excessive hunger
- Fatigue
- Fainting
- Dizziness
What are the late signs and symptoms of hypoglycemia?
Late s/s:
- HA
- Blurred/double vision
- Slurred speech
- Drowsiness
- Inability to concentrate, confusion
- LOC, coma
When should a diabetic eat before exercising?
At least 2 hours before exercise. Supplement with high carb foods before, during, after exercise as needed.
