includes seeing that the day-to-day tasks necessary to ensure a smooth-running facility are done

the measurement and feedback mechanism of getting objectives
Controlling
it completes the management function loop by comparing what has actually been accomplished with the original master plan

A program that embodies all of the concepts in the management process
