Q

Forward Sacral Torsion BLT

A
  1. Supine patient
  2. Caudal hand on deep sacral base to BLT point and cephalad hand either on sacral base, ASIS or L5
  3. Caudal hand applies anterior force while cephalad hand assists sacral base flexion, L5 extension or bridging ASIS, depending on where you place your hand
  4. Air hunger (x3 and readjust after each)
  5. Reassess

Q

Posterior Innominate Rotation BLT

A
  1. Patient seated and sit in front patient by the feet and hold distal legs.
  2. Push lat. side up (posteriorly) and pull opposite leg down (anteriorly)
  3. Tell patient to rotate toward lateralized side until leg goes up, realign the legs as patient holds position.
