  • Null hypothesis: states the IV has no effect on DV

- Experimental Hypothesis (2 types): states IV has an effect on DV

A
  • Non-directional Hypothesis (two tailed): does not state direction of predicted differences between conditions
  • Directional Hypothesis (one tailed): states direction of predicted difference between condition (will de/increase)
