What is Quantitative Data?
A
- Involves numbers, measured objectively
- Includes dependent variable in ex, closed q, structured interviews and tallies

What is Qualitative Data?
A
- Involves words and subjective interpretation
- e.g open questions, unstructured interviews and observations
- Hard to analyse due to subjective/biased interpretation, and it is hard to categorise/collect

What is Primary Data?
A
- Collected directly by researcher

What is secondary data?
A
- Info collected for a purpose other than its current use. Researcher use data for a different study and apply it to their research.
- There is variation in quality and accuracy of secondary data, so it is hard to tell if it’s reliable

What is a Meta-analysis?
A
- Process of combining results from many studies of one topic to provide an overall view
- Allows results to be generalised across larger populations
- Prone to publication bias where researcher leaves out studies with negative/non significant results
