A contract wherein patient voluntarily gives permission to someone
( in this case, the imaging staff) to perform a procedure or service

The legal aspect of obtaining consent deals with the imaging staff’s “duty to warn “ and the ethic “ do no harm.”

STEPS IN DRESSING AND UNDRESSING A PATIENT
- Wash hands.
- Wear gloves.
- Gather necessary clothing.
- Introduce self to patient
- Explain the procedure to patient
- Provide for patient’s privacy during dressing and undressing.
- Clearly explain how to put on the patient’s gown.
- Clearly instruct the patient to dressed.
- Place the used patient’s gown in soiled linen container.
- Remove gloves.
- Properly disposed the used gloves.
- Wash/sanitized the hands
It is very difficult for bedridden patients to use bathroom for bowel activities and urination. For accomplishing the
