Define a SOCIAL ANIMAL
- Prefer to be near/interact with adults of their own species than to be solitary or just in monogomous pair
- they form groups
- Theses adults are not just sexual partners (and indeed may be members of the same sex)
What does the ‘mating system’ of a species determine about the GROUP STRUCTURE?
