It took longer if they had been asked about an aspect on the back to answer one about an aspect on the front. Shorter time when asked about the middle then asked about the front.

Participants were taking time to move their eyes along an image of the boat in their memory. This shows that the long-term memory returns the drawing to the visuospatial sketchpad with displays the image.
