Execute the outreach plan for methodology building to bring in new, relevant information for Analysis. Work with the outreach coordinator to ensure compliance with outreach policy. Consider academic think tank, and private industry experts as partners in analysis.
Research
Determine which critical gaps can be addressed with research by the analyst. Follow appropriate policies for OPSEC, INFOSEC, and safe use of the Internet if researching open source. Consider the potential bias of the sources when integrating new information into the knowledge base.
