Integration
The processes and activities used to identify, define, combine, unify, and coordinate that various process and project management activities within the Project Management groups
Scope
The processes required to ensure the project includes all the work required and only the work required, to complete the project successfully
Schedule
The processes required to manage the timely completion of the project.
Cost
Includes the processes involved in planning, estimating, budgeting, financing, funding, managing, and controlling costs so the project can be completed within the approved budget
Quality
Includes the processes for incorporating the organizations qualty policy regarding planning, managing, and controlling project and product quality requirements
Resource
The processes used to identify, acquire, and manage the resources needed for the successful completion of the project
Communications
The processes involved with ensuring the timely planning, collection, creation, distribution, storage, retreival of project information
Risk
The processes of conducting risk management planning, identification, analysis, response planning, response implementation, and monitoring on a project.
Procurement
The processes necessary to purchase or acquire resources needed from outside the team
Stakeholder
Includes the processes required to identify stakeholders, analyze their expectations and their impact on the project and to develop appropriate management strategies for engaging stakeholders in decisions and executions
Initiating
The point of this phase is to determine the vision for your project, document what you hope to accomplish, and secure approvals from a sanctioning stakeholder.
Plnning
This process group is where you build the project infrastructure that will enable you to achieve your goal within your predetermined time and budget constraints
Executing
This process group is where the majority of the project work is done
Monitoring & Controlling
This process group involves keeping an eye on the actual progress of the project against your plan and taking corrective action where necessary.
Closing
This process group includes delivering the final project, hosting a post-mortem meeting, archiving project records and other actions.
