  • Prodrome: irritable, conjunctivitis, fever
  • Koplik spots: white spots (‘grain of salt’) on buccal mucosa
  • Rash: starts behind ears then to whole body, discrete maculopapular rash becoming blotchy & confluent

  • ‘Slapped-cheek’ rash spreading to proximal arms and extensor surfaces
