Ant Femur Mob
Improves flex
concave tibia, convex femur
pt lies prone, towel under patella, stabilize ant tibia, ant directed force to femur, perp to long bone
Post tibial mob
improves flexion
pt lies supine, knee flexed, supported by your leg, stabilize post femur, give post directed force to tibia perp to long bone
Post femoral mob
improves ext
pt lies supine, knee in max available ext, leg supported by your leg. stabilize post tibia, apply post directed force on distal femur
Patella Glides
Pt lies supine, glide patella inf and sup
- inf - watch for fat pad, put pressure on sup pole to lift patella, drive inf (flex)
- sup - lay fingers along the med and lat sides of patella, drive sup (ext)
Anterior Tibia Mob
Increases ext
concave tibia and convex femur
pt lies supine, towel under patella to prevent compression, support involved lower leg. Stabilize about the joint line, give an ant force
