A Natural Hazard is an event that has potential to affect people’s lives or property.
Natural disaster
A natural disaster is a natural hazard that had already happened.
Geological Hazard
Caused by land and tectonic processes.
Meteorological Hazards
Caused by weather and climate. It includes tropical storms, other extreme weather also heatwaves and cold spells, and climate change.
Destructive Margins
- Two plates moving towards each other

Constructive Margins
Two plates moving away from each other and magma rises from the mantle to fill the gap and cools, creating new crust.

Two plates moving sideways past each other or moving in the same direction but a different speed.
