Wissen:

A

The easy way to remember how to use wissen is that it is usually followed by a subordinate clause with a conjunction, so it looks something like: I know that…/I don’t know that…/I don’t know if…/I know where…/Do you know that…?

Wissen is also used in a short phrase “I know/I don’t know” and with the words das, viel, etwas, nichts, alles, genug.
