Q

FS:
First/second jump in a jump combination is a “non-listed” jump

What’s the call?

A

Listed jump + COMBO

If the first/second jump by one or both partners of a two-jump combination fails to succeed and turns into a “non-listed jump”, but the other jump is a listed jump, the unit will be considered as a jump combo with only one listed jump receiving value

FS: Touch down with free foot without weight transfer with 0-2 three turns performed after first jump

What’s the call?

A

Q

FS: Repeated jump

A

Repeated jump with more than 2 revs of the same number of revs will occupy a jumping box and given no value

HOWEVER - jumps can be the same within combination or sequence

If any jump is not according to requirements, only jump not according to requirements will be deleted and not entire combination/sequence. Jumps are considered in order of execution

Q

Different jumps performed

A

if the partners definitely perform different jumps, the result is no value

The name of the jump will be th ejump with a lesser value without any signs

Only this jump will be blocked from repetition

Ex: 3T by one partner, 3S by other = 3T*

Q

Unequal number of revolutions

A

In case of unequal number of revolutions of partners in a jump performed as a solo jump or part of a combo or sequence, this jump will be called as a jump with lesser amount of revolutions executed by partners

Q

Popped listed jumps - how are they treated?

A

attempt will count as one jump element

HOWEVER, a small hop or jump with up to one-half revolution performed as a kind of “decoration” is not considered as a jump and will be marked within the composition component

Q

Jump sequence definition (3)

A

Consists of 2 or 3 jumps of any number of revs

2nd or 3rd jump is an axel type jump with direct step from landing curve of the 1st/2nd jump into take-off curve of the Axel jump

One full rev on ice between jumps (free foot can touch ice but no weight transfer) keeps element in frame of jump sequence

15
Q

How is a waltz jump called?

A

In the opinion of the tech panel, if the waltz jump is intended and used as only preparation to the next jump, this waltz jump will not be called

If the waltz jump is an attempted axel (in the opinion of the TP), it will receive no value and block a box

16
Q

Definition of a jump combination (3)

A

landing foot of a jump is the take-off foot of the next jump

one full revolution on the ice between jumps

Free foot can touch the ice, but no weight transfer

17
Q

Eulers (4)

A

when an euler is executed separately, is an unlisted jump

when Euler is used between two listed jumps in a combination, Euler is considerd a listed jump

1Eu can only be downgraded by TP

Step over/no clear jump is a GOE reduction

18
Q

SP: Jumps that do not satisfy requirements

A

Jumps that don’t satisfy requirements (including wrong number of revolutions) will have no value AND will block a jumping box

19
Q

A well-balanced FS program for Seniors and Juniors must contain ____?

A
  • max 1 solo jump
  • max 1 jump combination or sequence

all jumps executed with more than 2 revolutions must be of a different nature, however the jump combination or sequence can include two same such jumps

20
Q

SP 2023-2024 solo jump requirement for Senior

A

any double or triple jump

21
Q

SP 2023-2024 solo jump requirement for Junior

A

Double axel or Double Lutz

22
Q

Juvenile solo jump bonus

A

1.0 bonus for each double axel (fully rotated, landed on the quarter, or under-rotated) by both partners

23
Q

Intermediate solo jump bonus

A

1.0 bonus for each double axel (fully rotated, landed on the quarter, or under-rotated) by both partners

24
Q

Novice pairs solo jump bonuses

A

1.0 bonus for each double axel (fully rotated, landed on the quarter, or under-rotated) by both partners (for SP and FS)

2.0 bonus for each triple jump achieved (fully rotated, landed on the quarter, or under-rotated) by both partners (for SP and FS). Jumps that have an edge attention or a wrong edge are still eligible for the bonus. (FS only)

25
Q

Junior pairs solo jump bonus

A

1.0 bonus for each triple jump achieved (fully rotated, landed on the quarter, or under-rotated) by both partners (for FS only)
