What do Jews believe about the Creator & Sustainer?
Jews believe that God created the world and sustains it.
What is Omnipresent?
Always present.
What is Omnipotent?
All powerful.
What is Omniscient?
All knowing
What is a Lawgiver?
Laws given to govern.
What is Free Will?
God gave us to choose our own paths and decisions.
What is the Existence of Evil?
It is the Evil existing due to free will.
What is the Judge?
Forgiveness and Law
What is the Shekhinah?
The Shekhinah is the believe that God focuses his presence in a certain area (eg. prayer).
What is Gan Eden?
Gan Eden is the Heaven for Jewish believers.
When does judgement happen?
Judgement happens as soon as you die.
What is Sheol?
Sheol is the place of waiting (purgatory for Jews).
Do Jews believe in resurrection?
Nope.
What is the belief that the messiah was to be?
Jews believed the messiah was to be a warrior or a king.
What is the messianic age?
It is when the messiah leads as a king.
What is the nature of the messiah?
It is when the king will rule in the future during the messianic age.
What does God promise to Abraham?
Holy land (covenant)
How does Abraham respond to God’s covenant?
He sacrifices his son as loyalty to God.
What is the Escape from Egypt?
After the 10 plagues the pharaoh let the Israelites let the isrealites go. Moses was chased down by Egyptians And then the red Sea collapsed on the Egyptians.
What are The Ten Commandments?
On the top of Mount Sinai Moses made the 10 Commandments for the Israelites to follow.
What is Monotheism?
Belief that there is only one God.
What is the Shema?
Player of calling upon God

"Hear, O Israel! The is our God, the Lord alone. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might"
What is Justice?
Oppose any unjust actions (evil).
What is Healing the World?
Being involved in Gods works such as preserving the environment.
What is World Jewish Relief?
A charity that supports justice in Jewish committee.
What is Kindness to Others?
Doing good deeds so others can follow you.
What is Judgment?
Happens just as you die and it is the belief that God gives people the correct sanctions as a consequence of their actions.
What is Sheol?
If you are ‘punished’ you are sent to Sheol which is a ‘place of waiting’ to cleanse your soul.
What is Gan Eden?
This place is described as ‘paradise’ for the Jews. Almost heaven but due to beliefs it has a different name.
What is The Covenant with Abraham?
God made a Covenant with Abraham to give him the ‘Promised Land’ in an exchange for circumsizing himself as a sign of his approval

Belief that life is holy and that it should be protected.

A rule that allows you to break all the rules in order to save another life for example pregnancy in Shabat or if someone is injured.

The choice to make decisions by ourself.

Set of rules, contains 613 Mitzvots.

Tells Jews how to treat one another and improve relations with other people.
Between Man & God?
Tells us Jews how to build a relationship with God.
What is Kosher?
Food is ‘clean and ‘fit’ for Jews to consume.
What is the Shekinah?
It’s the belief that God can focus his presence in a certain place.
