V.て-form + くれる。
Somebody does something for me. You do something for me. Somebody does something for you.
私は妹にお金をけしてあげました。
I (generously) lent my sister money.
ともこさんのために買い物に行きました。
I went shopping for Tomoko (as a favour.)
友だちが宿題をてつだってくれます。
A friend helps me with my homework (and I am grateful.)
友だちに宿題をてつだってもらいました。
I got a friend to help me with my homework.
ちょうとてつだっていただけませんか。
Would you lend me a hand? (very polite)
ちょうと待ってくれませんか。
Will you wait for a second? (host family, roughly the same as ください)
それ取ってくれない?
Pick that thing up (and pass it to me) will you? (peers, casual)
