- Fibrous
- Cartilaginous

These joints are immovable and the bones forming them are united by dense fibrous connective tissue.

allow limited or no movement at all and are united by cartilage.

A
lubrication for the joint and provides nutrition for the hyaline articulate cartilage covering the ends of the bone.
