The illegal manufacture, distribution, or sale of goods, especially alcohol or recordings
Capitalism
An economic system in which private individuals or businesses own capital goods. The production of goods and services is based on supply and demand in the general market
Flapper
Young women known for their energetic freedom, embracing a lifestyle viewed by many at the time as outrageous, immoral or downright dangerous
Gross National Product
The total value of all goods and services that a country produces in a given year
Influenza Epidemic
An influenza pandemic is an epidemic of an influenza virus that spreads across a large region (either multiple continents or worldwide) and infects a large proportion of the population
