What is Brit Milah?
The name of the ceremony in which circumcision takes place fulfilling the covenant of circumcision commanded of Abraham.

The boys reads the Torah in the synagogue for the first time.

What is the importance of a Bar/Bat Mitzvah?
They become an adult.
Preparing for it brings you closer to God and your community.
Choosing to accept your role in the chosen people of God.
Can become part of the Minyan.

She will talk about a topic related to Judaism but will not read from the Torah.

food that Jews are not allowed to eat. unclean.

dietary laws.

the method of killing animals correctly.

scales + fins fish are okay to eat.

fruits and nuts that are okay to eat.
