why is Hadith important
- shows how to live out teachings of the Qur’an: understnad practices e.g prayer, Zakat (almsgiving)
- educates on the prophet as perfect example of a Muslim
- make an authoritative guide to the sunna of Muhammad and the life that Muslims should seek to imitate.
