A

What are the two different types of iron sources and where are they found?

A

Haem iron - similar to iron in blood so easy to adsorb. Found in animal foods (eggs an exception)

Non haem iron - can’t be absorbed by body unless eaten with food contains vitamin C. Found in SOME plant foods.
