What is litmus paper?
A
A strip of paper that is chemically treated with a dye named litmus. Blue litmus turns red when dipped in acid but remains red when dipped in a basic or neutral substance. While red litmus turns blue when dipped in a base and remains red when dipped in an acidic or neutral substance.

What is universal indicator?
A
It is a pH indicator made of a solution of several compounds that exhibit several smooth color changes to indicate the acidity or alkalinity of solutions.
