Q

Explain how sodium chloride is an example of ionic bonding

A

Sodium chloride is split into sodium and chloride. Sodium has 2, 8, 1 and chlorine has 2, 8, 7. Therefore sodium gives up there are electron two chlorine resulting to sodium now being 2, 8 and chloride being to 2, 8, 8
