Company Officer upon receipt of a complaint or notification from ANY SOURCE relating to conditions involving possible violations of law at premises or locations within the unit’s ADMINISTRATIVE DISTRICT , cause a _________inspection to determine actual condition ?

-REPORTS FORWARDED and JOURNAL ENTRIES RECORDED—RBIS portal? by OFFICER ON DUTY (ADMINISTRATIVE)
Upon receipt of a complaint for premises or locations NOT within their administrative districts, company officers shall ?
ACCEPT PARTICULARS, RECORD IN JOURNAL AND PROMPTLY CONVEY ALL INFO VIA TELEPHONE TO PROPER UNIT
(not including public assembly, theaters, sports arenas, convention halls, etc….next card)
Both above procedures DO NOT apply to this : Complaints related to places of PUBLIC ASSEMBLY , SUCH AS THEATERS, SPORTS ARENAS, convention halls, dance hall, cabarets or similar occupancies…procedure?
IMMEDIATELY NOTIFY ADMINISTRATIVE (not YOUR Battalion, necessarily ) BATTALION CHIEF via TELEPHONE
-BC will investigate with ADMIN UNIT (may or may not be your unit)
Complaints received from FPOSU-Fire Prevention Operations Support Unit …that require a Field unit response :
- Administrative message to UNIT containing ADDRESS, NATURE OF COMPLAINT, SPECIFIC LOCATION OR ADDRESS AND FP COMPLAIN NUMBER
- unit will investigate and FORWARD EITHER AN INTERIM OR FINAL INVESTIGATION REPORT (A-17) within 24 Hours (interim or final) of receipt of complaint–FAX FPOSU
complaints MUST be investigated within 24 hours
NO ACCESS after SEVERAL attempts within 24 hours…CHECK BOX INTERIM and FAX FPOSU
-additional attempts made to complete inspection within 72 hours …when completed FAX FINAL REPORT TO PFOSU
if inspection CANNOT be completed (NO ACCESS) after 72 hours , PHONE CALL TO FPOSU
A-17 prepared in triplicate…original FAX to FPOSU
UNIT NOTIFIED of Structural or OCCUPANCY hazard - DANGEROUS TO LIFE OR PROPERTY?
- Cause IMMEDIATE INSPECTION
- NOTIFY BC /DC of such
- FOWARD REPORT TO BFP
