Define civilisation
The word civilisation is derived from Latin word, civil meaning, city, or city state. It stands for more matured and refined life.
Why are river valleys called the cradle of civilisation?
Most of the civilisations in the world developed in the banks of the rivers. The places were man settle first when naturally those parts of the world where the salt was rich and water available for drinking and irrigation, why flatlands through which great reverse ran and warm climate.
